We carried on the activities of The World environment day successfully. In the morning 5th June we arranged to visit houses and gardens with the support from the Public Health inspector, the Grama Niladhari (village headman), the Agricultural officer and Samurdhi (development) officer to make people aware of dengue and protect the environment. In the afternoon we arranged a Shramadana to clean the road and after the shramadana we held a meeting. You can see some of our Sathkara children on the picture and also Naa tree (Mesua ferrea, iron wood) we have planted last year.
