Some of our Sathkara children were invited to participate in a new music video about our Mother Earth. The video was broadcasted on several TV channels in Sri Lanka. Lyrics in Sinhala and English below. The musicians performing are members of the group “Sanidapa”, responsible for the melody. Music is composed by Dilip Mirando, lyrics are by Jagath Perera, and the video production is made by Disat.
විහඟුන් රෑනේ ගුම් ගුම් නංවා සමනල් පහසේ ආවාආශා
සිහිනිඟ සලලා දිය සලු අදිනා යන හැටි දැකලා හිත යයි උතුරා
හමනා සුලං රැල්ල දැවටී ගතේ ඔන්න මනමත්ව සිත ආතුරයි
සැරිසරන විට දැනෙන සිරි අසිරියේ අරුම ගී නාද මත රැව් නැගේ
ඉඟි පාන මල් පොකුරු රොන් ගන්න වන බඹරු හිතවත්ව තව හාදු දෙයි
මුදු පහස විඳ ගන්න පණ මෙන්ම රැක ගන්න මිහිතලය අම්මා වගේ
The flocks of birds and the butterflies are flying over, making our minds happy
The streams flow with beautiful water falls overflow the true joy
Gentle breeze is whirling around the body rejoice the mind
When we wander through the wonderful environment help our feelings by songs of the nature
Allusive bunches of flowers and the wild bees friendly kiss the nature
So feel the gentle touch and protect our mother earth as you protect your own life
